Hairstyle evolution

Hey guys! You probably know the feeling of being fed up with your hairstyle and color. You are bored with your hair and figuring out what to do next? Looking at the trends, mid length hair is definitely hot at the moment. Many bloggers and celebs are cutting of their long signature locks and show off their fresh new hairstyle. For a moment this made me wonder ‘would it be time for a change for me too!?’

Well no, I am not going mid length because I am actually quite happy with my saved up long lengths. What I am not sure about is the light blonde color. When I am dying my hair blonde the shade often becomes too warm (read yellow.. ieeuw) so it’s probably best to go back to a darker color.

Browsing trough some old pics and considering some options I thought it would be fun to show you my hairstyle evolution. In the past years I had many different looks and hairstyles, which, in most cases, I really liked at the moment itself.. haha..

Short, layers, red, dark and bangs, I tried it all, so I present to you my hairstyle evolution! 🙂

A brown haired babyface back in the nineties. The color of my hair was probably the representation of my state of mind back then. DARK 🙂

Still like this beach blonde look. The layers create movement and made this haircut really easy to style. Perfect for summer!

A total make over! My hairdressers idea for a cool new hairstyle. At the moment I thought I looked fabulous, but looking back… hmmmm.. No short hair anymore please!!

My office appropriate look, styled off with pearl earrings and matching scarf. The hair color actually doesn’t look bad at all I think.

Cutting bangs turned out to be  a disaster. Despite all my styling efforts, never ever in the right place… grrr..
